lyrics
I've said what I had to say. Did I stutter, or should I start over again?
Well, why don't I just shut my mouth and hear what you have to say?
Speak to me.
God, speak to me, cuz I am here alone.
And I need to feel grace you've show.
But, why don't I just shut my mouth and hear what you have to say?
Speak to me.
And it's a struggle seeing you through,
when all I ever get is the backlash on my neck.
But, I'm trusting you in places I haven't walked.
With eyes blinded with grace.
And why don't I just shut my mouth and hear what you have to say?
Speak to me.
Always speaking holy words that are pitiful.
But rest brings me home.
Break me down to hear your heart, let me feel all that you feel.
And why don't I just shut my mouth and hear what you have to say?
Speak to me.

There's so much energy throughout Feast of Love. Walls of fuzz, a driving punk rhythm, soft yet impactful vox; their chemistry will rope you in like a high school crush. Only difference is Pity Sex doesn't flake out on you. They're right here h i d d e n l e t t e r s

Stumbled across this great band because of Martha the band and I just love their sometimes melancholy garage-sound.
Also I like the acoustic songs.
I still remember seeing them live in my hometown when they were touring with Erica Freas and asked them for a setlist to have something to remember the great concert.
It´s hanging on my wall since that day :) Ninehundredninetynine
