Mind Games 04:42
I should have been sleeping by now But I'm wide awake. I've been wandering my mind to places I used to live. My feet are still, but my mind walks. And every time I try to rest my eyes, I just can't. What was it like to die? What was it like to know this is for me? What was it like to be with God? And then come back for me? Where do you rest? It's where I wanna be. Where I wanna be, so I can sleep; Sleep in your arms. Let me sleep in your arms.

I've said what I had to say. Did I stutter, or should I start over again? Well, why don't I just shut my mouth and hear what you have to say? Speak to me. God, speak to me, cuz I am here alone. And I need to feel grace you've show. But, why don't I just shut my mouth and hear what you have to say? Speak to me. And it's a struggle seeing you through, when all I ever get is the backlash on my neck. But, I'm trusting you in places I haven't walked. With eyes blinded with grace. And why don't I just shut my mouth and hear what you have to say? Speak to me. Always speaking holy words that are pitiful. But rest brings me home. Break me down to hear your heart, let me feel all that you feel. And why don't I just shut my mouth and hear what you have to say? Speak to me.

First of May 05:03
Today's the day I lived to fight off. They found me here in my home. Knocked down the doors, and took me from mother. Keep me safe, keep me warm; In the backseat of this hellhole. If today is the end, then please, God, Bring me home. Yesterday was safe for me and brother. Used to be wrapped up in his big arms. How can they feel no remorse? The first of May, when my body hit that floor.
